Customer Reviews

Pros: If the lid is properly closed, they stay wet for a long time. They don't seem to clog the toilet/safe for septic system. Pop-top is easy for a child to open/close. Environmentally friendly compared to some other wipes.
Cons: RE: Questionable ingredients in the sensitive-skin wipes (quoted from the CDC/FDA databases). -Disodium EDTA is "cytotoxic and genotoxic to animals" -Bis-Peg/PPG-16 Dimethicone is "unsafe for irritated/broken skin" -Benzyl Alcohol is "known to be neurotoxic to humans" -Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate has shown some "evidence of gastrointestinal or liver toxicity" -Pentadecalactone is "expected to be toxic or harmful" None of the ingredients are highly toxic or warned against, but a few are questionable if used constantly/for a long time.
Overall: Not the worst on the market, but not the best either (certain baby wipes/flushable wipes contain far worse ingredients). A little expensive compared to other brands, however our [small for her age] six year old seems to like them as an occasional supplement to regular toilet paper.

I am only hoping to save you some trouble and money and warn you about these wipes. I can not recommend this product at all, unless you throw them in the trash after using. I understand that these "flushable" wipes are small for a reason and supposedly you are only supposed to flush up to 2 at a time, but these will eventually clog your system (sewer or septic)! They do NOT break up and are not biodegradable! When our sewer backed up last night, the only thing I could think of were these wipes. We flush nothing else other than toilet paper. I researched it online and sure enough, many other people had this same problem. It cost them $100's to have a plumber come out and fix it...and even the plumber said they get called out about once a week to unclog "flushable wipes." We've been using these for over a month, and just now it clogged up. Thankfully, my husband is pretty handy and was able to rent a "snake" that eventually pushed the clog out to the main sewer line..he was only able to pull a few wipes back since it was clogged so tight. Evidently, many cities are having to do extra maintenance due to these types of wipes getting flushed, too. My recommendation is to just use toilet paper and throw any wipes in the trash!
